The wedding took place in Mumbai but was a traditional Gujarati wedding. Only friends and family were invited but as they wanted to make the day memorable, the wedding was grand.
The couple chose Phuket for their honeymoon.

The couple has been married for almost 20 years now and was blessed with a baby girl Khyana Joshi in October 2005. After four years, they welcomed their twin sons, Rehan Joshi and Vaaryan Joshi.
The couple respects each other’s work, as Sharman is an actor, and Prerana is a business-woman. Sharman once said that their mantra for a successful marriage is that they respect each other’s work and space and can depend on each other during difficult times.
Prerana Chopra once added that she is as involved in Sharman’s work as one should be. She even stated that she is the emergency contact when Sharman’s team or crew cannot reach him. Sharman is really lucky to have found Prerana as when he gets really busy, he forgets to do important chores but Prerana always has his back.
