An American singer-songwriter got popular on social media when he released his first EP in 2015. It was included with a follow-up single, ‘Used to Love You Sober.’ When Kane Brown was making a name for himself in the industry, he met Katelyn Jae.
Jae pointed out in an interview that they met through music. Jae used to live in Orlando, Florida and she too was passionate about her music career. For the record, Katelyn Jae is also a singer. Kane and Katelyn both were working for the same producer. The producer got a hold of Kane, and he invited Kane to the Studio in Miami for the show he was doing at that time.
Jae was working there too. It was Jae who introduced Kane to the producer so they could collaborate and work together.
Brown was approached to feature in Jae’s music video, but scheduling conflicts came in between as he had the show to attend on the same day. After a year, Brown signed with RCA Nashville and released his first EP titled ‘Chapter 1,’ later he released his self-titled full-length album as well.
The producer asked Jae to come with Brown to one of his shows. Even when she didn’t want to, she came with Jae. The two met, didn’t talk at all. Brown recalled not making a movie even though he found her adorable. The next day, he messaged Jae on Instagram if she would go out with him.
It leads to a dinner date. Jae and Brown both kept their relationship under wraps till January 2017. It was Kane who took Facebook to announce that he was in a relationship.

Who is Kane Brown’s wife, Katelyn Jae?
Katelyn Jae’s birth name is Katelyn Krapf. She was born on June 19, 1992, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She grew up in a middle-class family with her two brothers in Chester Spring, Pennsylvania. Her parents separated when she was a kid. She was singing when she was 3 years old. In her sixth grade, she dazed everyone with her near-perfect rendition of Celine Dion’s ‘My Heart Will Go On.’
Her parents then enrolled her in piano and vocal classes. Her music aptitude became more evident when she attended Downingtown High School.
In 2008, she was part of the top five singers of the International Model and Talent Association conference. She was also a face among the 23 female US representative singers at the 2010-20211 Avon Voices. However, she got her big break when she won the very first season of the ‘Take the Stage’ singing competition.
Apart from the winning amount, she got a management contract with YOBI.tv and Wright Entertainment Group. She also took music lessons from Florida compound music industry boot camp organized and run by Johnny Wright.

Brown had a big plan to propose Jae for marriage that involve lots of rose petals. However, he just couldn’t wait and asked her when they were watching ‘The Amityville Horror.’ The couple got married in October 2018 in Franklin, Tennessee. Almost 200 guests attended the function that including Brown and Jae’s friends and family.
The wedding ceremony was an intimate affair. However, the couple shared glimpses of their wedding in one of the Kane Brown songs titled ‘Good as You.’ In April 2019, the couple took Instagram to announce that they are expecting a baby.
At that time, she also enrolled in the music management course at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Jae thought it would be better to understand the music industry from the legal side as well. On October 2, 2019, they welcomed their first child ‘Kingsley Rose Brown.
