Salman Khan is one of the most powerful and famous personalities in India and always remains in the limelight. But there are also many Bollywood celebrities, ranging from singers to actors, whose magnitude of success and fame are not as high as his, and some of them for one reason or other have clashed with him. Salman Khan is not known as the ‘Bhai’ of Bollywood for no reason. He is famous for his notorious past. Some of these celebs who clashed with Salman had to face grave consequences for making Salman angry. Following is a list of some actors who quarreled with Salman and had to pay a heavy price for it.
1. Vivek Oberoi
The clash of Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi was a big controversy in Bollywood. The cause of the quarrel was Aishwarya Rai, Salman’s then-girlfriend. After the success of ‘Saathiya,’ Vivek became a hit star and around the same time fell in love with Aish. The feeling was mutual as Aish had by that time a fallout with Salman. Salman was not pleased with Vivek dating Aish and drunk called Vivek 42 times harassing him over his new relationship. Vivek responded by calling a press meeting to name and shame Salman before the public. Soon after the incident Vivek several times apologized to Salman about the incident but Salman refused his apologies. After this controversy, Vivek’s career went downhill.
2. Anurag Kashyap
The fact that France government awarded Anurag Kashyap the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2013 for his contributions to film proves that he is a great director. But he too had a fallout with Salman Khan. Originally Anurag was supposed to be the director of “Tere Naam”. He asked Salman to grow hairs on the chest so that he could fit in the role of UP boy Radhe. Salman didn’t like the suggestion and the next day Anurag got a call from the producer to come to his office. When he was in office producer threw a glass bottle at him and said – ‘Saale Tu Salman Ko Baal Ugane Ko Bolega’. Since this incident, neither of them see each other eye to eye.
3. Arijit Singh
The king of melodious voice Arijit Singh too had a small clash with Salman Khan. This incident happened when Salman was hosting the Star Lux Awards. When Salman announced his name as the winner, Arijit was taking a nap and had to be woken up by others to go and take the award. Salman took some casual jibe at Arijit for his sleepy look but Arijit responded harshly. After the incident, Salman removed his unreleased songs from his films. Arijit tried to apologize after the incident but got rejected. Arijit later told that he just got nervous on the stage and didn’t know what he was saying.
4. Renuka Shahane
Renuka Shahane played the role of Bhabhi in “Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!”. She posted a FB post questioning Salman’s acquittal in the blackbuck case. This post after the 18 years of legal battle did not go down well with Salman Khan and ever since this post they share cold vibes.
5. Zubair Khan
Bigg Boss 11 ex-contestant Zubair Khan and Salman Khan had a big argument inside the house after which Salman asked Zubair to leave the house. It all began when Salman harshly criticized him in one of the episodes for his misbehavior in the house. Zubair was so offended that he threatened Salman that he would take action against him and file an FIR but that never happened.
6. Ranbir Kapoor
Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor both had the same love interest Katrina Kaif. At one time both were head over heels in love with Katrina Kaif. According to rumors after Ranbir started to date Katrina, Salman does not want to see Ranbir Kapoor anymore.
7. Sona Mohapatra
Singer Sona Mohapatra had to face a big backlash from Salman Khan’s Fans when she tweeted against Salman’s remark on rape. What happened was that during the promotion of his film Sultan he said that after such an intense workout for the film he felt like a raped woman. This remark didn’t go very well with the “Ambarsariya” singer Sona Mohapatra and she lashed out at him.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Though Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the most beautiful lady in our industry, she is a beauty pageant winner but she failed to have a successful Bollywood career. For this, somewhat credit goes to Salman Khan. After breaking with Salman she faced a downfall. When she was shooting for Chalte Chalte, Salman went on the sets and created a lot of nuisance. Next, when she was shooting for ‘Kuch Na Kaho’ again Salman created a nuisance. Post that hype was created that if the producer or director signs Aishwarya, Salman is surely gonna creates unnecessary nuisance on the set which will pull negative controversy for the film. Gradually director and producer stopped working with Aishwarya Rai. One can say that Salman destroyed Aishwarya’s career.
Unfortunately, these celebs never again came to good terms with Salman but we still hope that they will get their friendships back and collaborate on new and exciting projects.
