In an interview, Carmen recalled that they exchanged numbers and Rodman keeps calling. Initially, she hadn’t responded but one day she did. She got an invitation to hang around and she went. They started dating. While Dennis and Carmen were together, Carmen felt deep grief as her mother and sister died of brain cancer and heart attack respectively.
Carmen flew to Las Vegas and got married to Dennis at the Little Chapel of the Flowers in Lag Vegas. However, Dennis filed for an annulment after nine days claiming that he was not in sound mind when they married. In April 1999, the couple mutually agreed to end their marriage.

Prince called Electra and motivate her to be an artist. He went on to write a song for her and offered her to record it as well. The song titled ‘Carmen on Top’ was confusing for then-Tara. On Prince’s insist, Tara changed her name to Carmen.

In 2012, her dating rumors with former “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell created quite a stir in the industry. According to sources, she was seen with singer Max George as well as Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte back in 2013.
