Where Did It All Begin?
After the release of his debut movie Barsaat, Bobby, along with his friends went to an Italian restaurant in Mumbai to celebrate his succes as the movie was praised by both, the audience and the critics.
During the party, Bobby saw a girl passing by, and he was awestruck by her beauty. That girl was Tanya Ahuja. Bobby was so head over heels for Tanya that he called up everyone to get at least some information about the mystery girl.
Finally, Bobby got to know that Tanya is daughter of Dev Ahuja, a finance company’s manager. After a lot of wooing and struggling, Bobby finally got her phone number and she agreed to go on a date with him.
Dreamy Proposal
It didn’t take much long for the cute couple to fall madly in love with each other. And Bobby thought it was the best time to move the relationship forward and decided to propose Tanya. It was a very thoughtful decision of Bobby to propose Tanya at the very place where he saw her for the first time. Surprised Tanya, said “yes” without any doubt.
Traditional Wedding
The families of both Tanya and Bobby got involved and the wedding was duly fixed. The cute couple tied the knot in 1996. The couple chose to have a traditional wedding and no doubt Bobby was looking fabulous in his white sherwaani and Tanya chose a beautiful red lehenga that perfectly enhanced her beauty.
The adorable couple was blessed with their first son, Aryaman Deol in 2002 and in 2004, they welcomed their second son Dharam.
Present Day
The couple keep their personal life very private but you can surely see them posing and smiling, holding hands in various events in the Bollywood. Bobby is taking care of his restaurant and banquets business whereas Tanya is leading her furniture designing business.
