Luke Benward is an American actor and singer famous for playing the character of Billy Forrester in the comedy film ‘How to Eat Fried Worms.’ Benward made a name for himself in the industry as a child actor working in some of the most popular movies and TV shows. In 2002, Luke made his acting debut with the movie ‘We Were Soldiers. He played the character of David Moore. The movie was based on the book ‘We Were Soldiers Once… And Young,’ by Lieutenant General Hal Moore. Later, he got the part in comedy series ‘Family Affairs,’ and ‘Steven Dewberry.’
In 2006, he portrayed the iconic character of Billy Forrester in the Children’s comedy film ‘How to Eat Fried Worms.’ The movie gives a glimpse of what school challenges feel like as Billy got the challenge to eat worms without vomiting. Luke even won the ‘Young Artist Award’ for his exceptional performance.
In 2008, Luke got the part of ‘Charlie Tuttle’ in the science-fiction movie from Disney Channel titled ‘Minutemen.’ In the movie, Charlie was one of the main characters and a genius teenager. His acting chops get him other film projects as well that include ‘Mostly Ghostly,’ and ‘Dog Gone.’

In 2017, Benward played the part of ‘Lloy Danderson,’ in the comedy series, ‘Still the King.’ In 2018, Benward essayed the role of Jack Strong, in the comedy movie, ‘Life of the Party.’ Later, he also featured in the movies, ‘Measure of a Man,’ and ‘Dumplin.’
Luke also performed in many music videos. For instance, he made guest appearances in the music videos like ‘Concrete Anger,’ ‘That’s Cool,’ Matina McBride, and ‘Blue County’ respectively.
