Gucci Mane was born on 12 February 1980 as Radric Delantic Davis is an American rapper. In order 2000 and 2010, he helped in pioneering the hip-hop genre of trap melody beside his associates Young Jeezy and Atlanta-based rappers T.I. His first album was Trap House in 2005. Hard to Kill and Trap-A-Thon was second and third albums respectively. All his albums were highly successful. His sixth-album was The State vs. Radric Davis which was also recognized as a gold-certified album. In between 2014-2016, when he was in prison, he developed with several projects like Everybody Looking in 2016 which was appraised critically. His first single was “Black Beatles” on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in the collaboration with Rae Sremmurd. His latest released album is Delusions of Grandeur in 2019. In his overall career, he has released over 70 mixtapes and 12 studio albums. He has worked with several renowned artists like Lil Wayne, Selena Gomez, Marilyn Manson, and Drake.

1. Personal life:

He was born to the former U.S serviceman, teacher, and social worker Vicky Jean Davis. He belonged to a family with a strong military background. His paternal and maternal grandfather both served in World War II. 

2. Education:

He attended Kindergarten from Jonesboro Elementary school. When he was nine years old, he moved to Atlanta with his single mother due to some family problems.

3. Marriage:

On October 17, 2017, he got married to Keyshia Ka’oir in Miami who is the owner and founder of   Ka’oir Cosmetics and Ka’oir Fitness. He proposed to Keyshia after the performance at Atlanta Hawks. He was blessed with a son in 2007. His wedding cost is around $1.7 million and his wedding ring costs $3 to $5 million

4. A career as a Drug Dealer:

When he was a novice at Ronald E. McNair High School, he started his hobby as a career in a drug dealer. He was a scholar in school, receives good grades and was popular among other students.

He has a crush on a girl with whom he had the first experience of smoking cannabis. Before that he never took drugs, he was only a drug dealer. He began a relationship with that girl and due to regularly smoking cannabis, he got a psychological addiction to it. 

6. Disputes:

He encountered several life-threatening circumstances. He got into the rivalry with the local street goons called “the East Shoals Boys”. Due to this fight, his friend Jabon was knocked near to death. He graduated from McNair High School. He was arrested by a police officer in charge of having cocaine and was also kicked out of the computer programming classes. Later he was sentenced to 90 days imprisonment. 

7. Accusations

He was also arrested on charges of damaging to government properly, no insurance proof, driving on the wrong side, and several other charges. He was also ordered to send to the psychiatric hospital. He was charged from violence with a lethal weapon. He was sentenced to six months jail and got released on December 11, 2011. He was also accused of attacking a fan with a bottle in his head when he was trying to take a photograph with him. 

8. Music Career:

When he was 14, began rapping. He started his music career and released his first album La Flare on Str8 Drop. A large number of CDs were disseminated in East Atlanta. He decided to have his own music label LaFlare Entertainment. In New York, he was presented to the head of Big Cat Records. He is also called as the most influential rapper and an “avatar of East Atlanta”.

9. Acting career:

In 2012, he began his acting career, in the film Birds of a Feather. In the same year, he also starred in Spring Breakers alongside Ashley Benson, Selena Gomez, James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens, and Rachel Korine. 

10. Autobiography:

He published his autobiography in September 2017, The Autobiography of Gucci Mane. He wrote the book when he was in jail and the book was authored by Neil Martinez-Belkin. His autobiography became a bestseller in the New York Times.
