The leading stock exchange of India National Stock Exchange came into the limelight for tweeting Mouni Roy’s pics via their official Twitter account. NSE has decent Twitter followers after its establishment in 1992 as the first dematerialized electronic exchange in India. The Twitter followers of NSE expects important updates information about share traders and the share market.
However, due to an honest mistake, some photos of actress Mouni Roy was shared by the official Twitter account with an exciting caption that reads, “Soaring Saturday temperature high… @RoyMouni looks breathtaking.”
Even though NSE came forward, deleted the tweet, and apologize for the mistake, it went viral on the internet via sharing and memes.
NSE staff deleted the tweet immediately after they realize their mistake and explained the situation as a human error clarifying that their system wasn’t hacked at all. The apology tweet by National Stock Exchange says, “Today there was an unwanted post on NSE handle at 12:25 p.m. It was a human error made by the agency handling the NSE account and there was no hacking. Our sincere apologies to our followers for the inconvenience caused.”
It was too late as the content-hungry social media memers find it a chance to show their creativity. Within an hour of the tweet, Twitter and Instagram were flooded with jokes and memes about the NSE so-called human error.
Well, the actress herself didn’t make any comment on this incident. It would be lovely to see Mouni Roy’s reaction to this tweet from the National Stock Exchange. Mouni Roy has a decent fan following among people working at NSE.
There are dozens of funny tweets and memes on the internet related to this little humorous act of NSE. A guy tweeted “Market Thora kya uchal mara, NSE turned into full Masti baji mood. Ye sab kya kar rahe ho @ashishchauhan sahib!! #nseindia #NSE.”
